LANTERNFALL is a pixel-art action roguelite where the weapon you create becomes part of your build. Carry your lantern into the long night, survive growing hordes, and discover powerful skill combinations.

Draw your own weapons

Create a weapon pixel by pixel, choose its colors, and give it a name. Turn your design into a sword, spear, staff, bow, wheel blade, hammer, tome, or whip, then wield it in real combat.

Forge a weapon worth keeping

Return to the anvil and grow your signature weapon over time. Choose between three forging paths with different risks and rewards. Every strike can strengthen your creation, damage it, or break it.

Discover skill fusions

Bring fire, frost, lightning, and tides together. Pull fire trails into a blazing vortex, or drop meteors into a closed fire ring to trigger chain reactions. Build around the combinations you discover.

A playable development build

• Three regions with horde battles and boss encounters.
• Persistent weapon crafting and progression between runs.
• Windows 64-bit and macOS downloads included.
• English text by default, with 10 interface languages available in settings.
• Opening narration is in Chinese, with translated text.

This is a paid build of a game in active development. The current release is version 0.17.12; content and balance may change as development continues.

Controls

Move: WASD or arrow keys. Dash: Space. Pause: Esc. Keyboard and controller controls can be adjusted in settings.

The macOS app is ad-hoc signed and has not been notarized by Apple. macOS may block its first launch. Please read the platform notes included with the download.
